Crossroads now take 10% min TW to use, which seems to be made to combat villages that would build their towns without gates and just use crossroads.
I suggest that unless two crossroads have been refreshed (A village member goes to one end, grabs something like a hook from one crossroad and has to walk it to the other crossroad) Then after a week it will use 10% min.
What this means is that long crossroads will remain the same (No need to refresh something that is already over 10% TW) and crossroads that go within a town for ease of use will still have to have gates between them so they can be refreshed every week to keep the TW requirement down.
Crossroads between points in a city has made city planning a whole lot more fun, and also made towns alot more fun as a whole.
