bulletin board:
Brillant - finally something where we can communicate with neighbours and/or fellow villagers. - Should be possible to wipe the board for old messages. This would be very helpful if you're playing with people from another timezones.
If it can be posted outside the wall one could have messages for the general neighbourhood. I'm assuming some do have friendly neighbours that occasionally die and want to rekin or stuff. I know a lot will just use the usual swearwords and other stuff but still find it useful. It could however be made kinda like a claim works so only some people may write on it - if to avoid harashment, which still leaves the normal runestones for the usual harashment, threats and general overall "i'm better than you" kinda messages.
Maybe make the billboard in the form of a bigger runestone ?

Post box:
Assuming this will only work as long as somebody is alive ? Would be nice if one could to send to reincarnated persons using the original persons name because one might not know of the death or new name somebody is using.

Dock:
Would be great if one could sort of include a dock inside a safezone so if one had a claim near/on water and built a dock then it wasnt possible to access that way to the claim/safezone but one would have to do as now go through the walls. Then you dont have to carry your boat out and all. Hmmm. But that might make gates redundant I can see that happening. Well i'd love the idea but then i'm no thief/robber etc.

similar thoughts...post box seems a little weird

but: instead of windmill being faster, why not allow it to also have an inventory...load with wheat seeds and press a button, like you do with a wine press. would make it a great thing to build right next to your wheat field so you can harvest and just toss the seeds in there with no need of chests to sort when replanting.
