Larger containers

Just a simple larger container than chests, possibly have a crate that takes something in the region of 6x what a chest requires and stores 4x as much.
You would get less storage for your buck, but it would be nicer for larger towns to be able to organize stuff better.
And all that is actually required is a new sprite.

This would be great -- we have dozens and dozens and dozens of chests and it's NOT ENOUGH.

I would definitely love this, though as a farmer I would most appreciate some sort of container or knapsack that could be used to hold and transport seeds because when farming at high nature the majority of the time is spent shuffling seeds around or discarding them. Having larger chests would also be really good, even if they'd also have to take up more resources to balance it out.

Yeah, chests are the best thing we have for storage and having hundreds of them scattered everywhere looks kinda odd. A crate would however look perfect.

More chests = more slowdown, less chests = less slowdown. Even if they were locked in place (storage lockers or something like that) it would be a huge improvement.

I love it when someone makes 25 chests and then you turn around and 'poof'! They've all just been stolen and used for all kinds of other stuff, and people are begging to have more chests made.

Stacking would eliminate the storage issue but it would require vast amounts of coding, I assume. So bigger storage would be the fastest, easiest fix.

Loom-sized storage crate that holds 144 tiles! Or something, I dunno, just a thought!

And manmade rivers, and dams! and 100x100 storage that takes 1 stone.

Pretty sure he's objecting on the grounds that it makes things too easy for people...

If I got larger storage I'd use it for silk production... Also seed storage.

Most other things I currently store in unbuilt construction sites
