Mining LP

Mining is such an unrewarding and uninteresting task, but is the basis of so much of the game.
Boost the mining LP to at least a base of 30, possibly more and consider methods such as gems to make mining a more interesting and rewarding experience.

Indeed, i only get 500 per Pirozhki :( what is that, compared to 50 for one wrought!

This is the big difference, all stages of wheat and most other crop processing give LP while only the end ones in metals do.

Sorry 'bout that. I seem to have been taken the wrong way. My bad. Lets try again.

Okay, so Mining has a very low LP return... Lets think of why.

The best weapons and armor are made from metal, which can be used to farm large amounts of LP from killing animals... The only way to drink beer is made from metal. The best stationary light source is metal. The worthwhile cauldron, picks, cellars, brick walls, armours, keys and chests. Need metal...

The reward, instead of LP. Is metal...

A high value item, which can be easily be made into or traded for just about anything.

yeah but mining is something that requires no incremented skills, so it's perfect for a low level player who can't actually make the end products, or hunt.

farming, on the other hand? stay the fuck away from my crops, noob!

By the way, farming itself gives a good amount of LP only when doing flour. Sure, making bread and pirozkhi give a nice amount of LP too...but that's another skill, cooking. And you need to increase them to get good points. Mining...just require to hit a wall. Stamina aside, you can do as much as you want.
Anyway, gems wouldn't be bad. Maybe findable in both mines and caves at a very low chance.

So you want to compare only the mining process itself to the harvesting process?
Even stamina aside mines are not an renewable resource, the mine will eventually get dry, also you increase the way to run for every load with every tile you mine, also you dont harvest just for the fun of it, you use the products, such as you would use the ore. The products of harvesting however give like 100x the lp of the products of mining.

How does changing LP payout make anything less tedious?

Anyway, I agree that mining needs to be more interesting. Fishing was boring before the update, and now it's tons of fun. Why? Because now it involves decision making (picking lure etc.). There needs to be some decision making involved in mining.
