Regions and cultures

I suggest there should be regions and cultures to H&H. Far north (4 to 5 supergrids up) of the ROB is the Tower of Daleko. This supergrid is mostly mountain, and caves and mines are abundant. The idea of cultures is that items, such as palisades, take on a new appearance. So the people who live in Daleko would have a more stone based culture. You can learn other types of building styles from others, no idea how. All these names are just ideas.

Ring of Brodgar
In the exact center of the world. Big populated wasteland. Starting here will make you have the items and everything as it is now.

Tower of Daleko
Daleko means "Far" in English. And that's what this region is, 4 to 5 supergrids north. Most, if not all, of their buildables are stone based. They have less decay. The tower itself is 3 stories high, and new characters start on the top with a stunning view. You can't build inside it of course. Everything is level 5-X, this is for experienced players.

Tree of Korijenje
Means "Roots" in English. This is at the third or fourth supergrid south of the ROB. Lots of forest and grassland, not much else. Very little rivers. Everything here is made of wood and bone. Their buildables have an elegant, swirly appearance. They have more decay, but all the buildings are easy to build. This is the most noob friendly place. The tree is, well, a large tree house where new characters spawn in. There are many animals, but they are all fairly harmless.

Just an idea to diversify things. Right now a palisade is a palisade, a kiln is a kiln. Well, just an idea.

id rather see such things arise naturally through the system mentioned here than artificially forced upon players
