Runelore (futhark and branch crafts)

Runes: Rare inscribed rocks that you loot from trolls in the deepest mines that you can insert into swords and other types of weapons to grant them even more power. Forming certain words grant elemental damage types and damage bonuses to players of certain belief types. Requires the skill Runecarving which is the story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-air.

Paying attention? Good. No darn Diablo II ripoffs.

Rune Lore desc:xample "My ancestors hung themselves from the sacrifical tree, so I would learn the runes to carve on their stones."

In essence this is a request to add a futhark font into the game, mostly for fun, as well as the ability to carve them (or regular alphabets) onto branches to create 'Rune Sticks'. Which are basicly a cheaper and simpler method of leaving messages than finding a rabbit, skinning it, drying its skin, curing it into vellum parchment then writing something down. Or as is more commonly occurring, find a big boulder, carve it up into a runestone, leave a semi-permanent missive. Maybe I'm just a whiner but I feel dumb pumping my STR to ~20 just to clear my inbox.

Thoughts?

I like this idea, have a maximun number of characters per item. Branches can store like 8 characters (so you can use multiple to make a sentence), woodblocks can store 20 characters and etc.
