There are 2 kinds of them (the big ones and the 5l ones)
And right now the smaller 5l ones would be more useful than the big ones since we already had barrels for that. Its annoying and silly having to make bier-wurst and keep filling all the tankards and bottles, not to say that its silly people use buckets to store wine.

So I suggest a small demijohn which needs 10-12 glass and 4 plant fiber (for the basket like materials surrounding the glass)
and the inability to store wine in buckets, or if you do they turn to vinegar.

The tiny ones are known simply as bottles... And carry 0.6l, not 5l.

And your suggestion (wine jugs?) which I am assuming would be bag-portable, would actually be more expensive in terms of glass than the current demijohn. How much liquid would they hold?

I know what demijonhs im talking about and they arent tiny, they hold 5l.
In Portugal its pretty much the only container people use to transport wine and im pretty sure its not the only country.
And considering a bottle costs 4 glass a demijonh that carries 5 times more should have such a high cost in glass.

Personally I'd prefer Amphora. Or simply wineskins.

Yes amphora is the word I'm looking for. I just think more clay products are needed.
