Armor customization

So do you really find normal that in t his game guys who dress eaxctly the same (a fucking purple robe and a horned helm) fight a group of other purpled guys with exactly the same weapons? Would it be so hard to make a few more armours? I mean I don't even fight but this makes no sense :S. Any kind of customization for the clothes would be fine, new weapons or something, is this really suposed to represent the Iron Age? Its.. ridiculous at best
