As is if you inherit you cannot re discover anything you have found before
change should allow a certain percentage of items to be rediscovered while tradition not
why? because your completely mute and crippled if you inherit with max change and will have to rely COMPLETELY on curiosities
and thats brutal

If most of your LP has come from discoveries then just start a new guy.

Discovering stuff when you're developed is actually really annoying.
My crafter still can't craft enthroned toads :/

the lp from discovery is next to nothing, i don't see why you are making a thread about this, crimson chin.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

You're right, I can't remember the last time I've used a curio, discoveries are the way to go
