100% thief defence until proper ownership is implemented

This is a request for implementation of some 100% thief proof mechanism until there is a satisfactory method for tracking down people who nick your gear.

Locks and keys would be satisfactory, let basic mechanic skill build a lock, that can be paired with one or more keys, the lock can be put on a door or container and from then on the door/container cannot be opened without a matching key.


Right now it's just far too easy for thieves to walk in, steal all your stuff and walk away while you're offline. Claims are only providing minimal defense and I think theft and mistrust is causing far more bad feelings than fun at the moment.

Maybe implement lock picking once you've got the rest of the tracking/identification/revenge stuff completed.

No, I get it, but the admins have also been wanting to put in minigames.
