Idea for moderators

Postby overtyped » Fri Nov 07, 2014 6:05 am

I notice that some threads/posts that have good discussion going on are getting sent to hel. Some mods may be unfairly biased against some people, and it would be nice if it would display which moderator sent which thread/post to hel.

Here is a perfect example of mod abuse of power.
Kfarts makes this thread viewtopic.php?f=36&t=37597 and many good/deserved comments in that thread were sent to hel for no apparent reason. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=37610
How are we supposed to question a mod abusing power if we don't even know who is causing the locks?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

It's safe to assume it was me in most cases. The comments listed had absolutely nothing to do with the dwarves & thieves subforum, the topic at hand, or really anything meaningful at all in that thread. I get that you were trying to make a joke by linking to an amazon review guide for Special K protein cereal but it has nothing to do with kfart's recruitment.

As ever, low quality posts and offtopic discussion may be pruned from a thread and sent to hel at a moderator's discretion.

For all moderation disputes, post them to the moderation thread.
