A village's bulletin board

Postby simimi » Mon Feb 23, 2015 8:09 pm

Fix like a barterstand, it's a board with a parchment the owner can write and edit as often he wants.
So any villager can see the tasks of the day, news of neighbourhood, trade offers and so on.
If its easy enough to make it could be usefull for anybody without a village.
A newcomer with just a new clam could make a bord to explain to his neigbours who hi is, if he have things to sell, bye, trade, spare seeds for noobs, poems and so on.
Better than imortal graved stone.

Paved stone can be grassed over; runestones can be destroyed. Still, I like the idea. Much simpler.

I think the word you are looking for is bulletin board.

newspapers could be done using parchments and an newsboy with an newsboy cap should run across the village and put parchments in the mailboxes(wickerbasket)
so everyone could read the morning news

That would be funny. Why didn't I think of that?

yes
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy
