That's funny, I like it, I can imagine lots of mass alt suicides just so ppl can watch them falling into the blackness and post screenshots.

when I tried to fight a boar to kill myself, I just fell unconscious and my character didn't die.

Gosh, that's a special kind of unlucky. My friend died pretty quick to a boar. Then again, his character was completely new.

Actually it happens more than you'd probably expect, I've tried to kill alts off that way and sometimes the boar won't even attack, I had a screenshot at the end of world six of an alt with no skills or stats trying to get a boar to kill it and no matter how many times I went in and out of it's radius it just ignored me, lol.
Swimming is by far the quickest and easiest way to kill off a char.
