steam greenlight!

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

steam greenlight!

hey everybody.
This might seem a little forward thinking, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the possibility of this going on steam greenlight, or anything like that? I would love to see this get big enough to see it on Steam, so... just wondering.
feel free to provide speculation!

This has been discussed before. It'd be better if the game was more completed before going on greenlight so that large influxes of players can be exposed to the best possible game. =)
Also the devs wouldn't mind but it's extra work that can be spent programming more content for the game.

Steam people would cry because they die and everything takes so long time

There are much harsher games on steam.

I think what you mean is appstore and google play.

I don't know about that. I've never had 6-8 months of my life and 20 new friends get destroyed in 15 minutes of mindless fun for some griefers in any other game, part of what makes Haven truly unique. I've never had the experience of playing the long con on a group for 3 months, only to find out that a guy who had been with us for 2 worlds was waiting for the perfect moment to fuck us all over. Haven is the saltiest of games, with tears that could drown the masses. Steam, Appstore, Play... None of them are ready. Which makes it perfect for those platforms. Grab your picks boys, we're mining Carthage today! Jobs wife won't hold a candle to what Jorbtar will unleash upon the world.

(Note; I didn't play EVE long enough to get fucked over that hard, though I certainly did get greased up.)
