A quick idea about caves/mines

Dismiss this as a joke thread if you want. Really, I would. I'm not being serious, for the most part.


Mining in certain spots could release different sorts of gasses (Some poisonous, some explosive, etc...)

Caves could hold gas deposits within them.


Miners could combat this gas by wearing a Mask of some sort. Perhaps a Gas Filtration Mask... A gas mask?

Craftable with Leather, Glass for the lenses, metal for the outlets for the filters. Filters could be built with a nugget of metal and some charcoal for filtration.




Like I said, not being serious.

Well. If the rewards and possibilities for a particular activity are increased it only makes sense that the difficulty/risk/complexity of a task is likewise increased. This makes the game more interesting and more rewarding. Still, shit like this is far and removed. I think fixing existing shit and the planned system revamps (LP, cmaobat, warfare, village management, etc.) come far and before adding retarded complexity and difficulty are added. As it is we have enough useless content updates like wind and wardrobes taking priority over basic game mechanics repair.
