Shovel

Postby warrri » Fri Dec 25, 2009 4:22 am

Simply and straight: This game needs a shovel, since grabbing clay out of river is a horribly pain with bare hands.
Should just reduce the time [and stamina] thats needed to dig clay, just like a scythe. The cursor even turns into one, so why not? :)

Isn't this like the fourth thread suggesting as much? Agreed.

Should be made of stone for a bad one and metal for a good one, but other than that, agreed.

Stone shovel? I don't think that would work. Wood is a more realistic choice.

I would have thought a carved wooden shovel would make more sense than a stone one, personally.

No that's LAME. The point is that having metal makes everything easier. Even wood shovels do not make sense no matter how hard you've convinced yourself.

Personally i think it should only consist of Iron or Bronze + block of woods for the shaft. It should break every few hundreds clay you digged, because were digging in the water, that means the metal corrodes.

Yes i totally see that this further improves the gap between rich and poor, capitalism at its best, but still, thats how it works!
