Toilets

Right Click Flower menu option: 'Make Waste'

Reduces hunger to %5 'Very hungry'

Plowing & drinking water is just as lame but a lot more grindy. This does the same thing as that which is already exists in the game, reduces the grind factor and even adds a small aspect of realism with infinite comedic potential.

Fertilizers Jokes & sub-suggestions Ensue!

'Make Waste' might not the best action name please propose alternatives.

Already suggested. ;)

I do agree that water draining hunger was a bad idea, though; I just wanted it to be different from tea. We'll probably change it to be different in some other aspect, and that it just restores stamina without draining hunger.

This is not a shit suggestion.

So rapid consumption of FEP's is not balanced? Otherwise people will inevitably just macro the most stamina draining activity while afking the charecter to increase hunger while actively playing a different character. Making 'shit' difficult will only increase your macro factor. Whether or not people can accomplish macro abuse simply depends on how well they can multibox and program macros.

In that the best part of this game and what makes it unique is that it is %90 production, processing and consumption of resources I think you make a mistake by attempting to make consumption difficult. Given the PvP nature of this game doing things that naturally cause you accumulate resources is not something this game encourages. If you stockpile food you can guarantee that you will be raided and your food will be stolen or destroyed. Being able to apply those resources quickly to a character is important imho or else it's a waste to produce anything you cannot more or less immediately consume.

IOW, you will arbitrarily slow character development. As I've said in my other suggestion. This slow progression of character development is %50 of the imba of combat because it discourages PvP because people risk so much time and effort.

This is forcing character development rates which is anti-sandbox and leads to people logging out during raids because their character development is worth more than the defense of 4 cupboards of cheese, chest and a half of cave bulbs, 4 bolts of silk, and half a cupboard of wrought.

It's not I could really give a fuck less if it's actually toilets or not. It could be a work out bench that drains all your stamina and automatically consumes water. IDC

This is about a the game mechanics of decreasing the macro factor of rapid consumption of FEP's

I might be just a bit biased because I've been raided four times despite the fact that we have never been a violent community and never commited any in game offenses upon anyone.

i think loftar is right, its a bad idea to decrease hunger. i think there should be a "thirst" bar aswell... whatever it does.
and for your workout bench, theres chairs already which regain stamina.
it would decrease the gab between top and lowest players, cause you wont be able to eat a cupboard of jorbs in a couple of minutes...

Your wrong. I'm sorry but you fail to see that the opposite is in fact true. The time it takes to eat items (And accrue LP) is in fact what causes the curent imba this game suffers. It is already difficult for us to catch up to Barbie. This would make it impossible.

If this really is the direction H&H is going I will at least be glad I won't have a conflict of interest two months into SBEmu going up.

Well, for now at least, I will stand by my point that drinking water shouldn't increase hunger (leveling speed should be limited on both sides, not just one), but Chakravanti is certainly correct in that the main limiting factor of leveling speed should be the speed of food production -- I have felt for quite some time that food production is quite a bit too easy for its own good. Of course, right now that is necessary, since characters become hungry far too fast.

Obviously, we've been wanting to rebalance the FEP and hunger numbers of food for quite some time now so that you don't have to eat entire cow herds each day just to keep your character from starving; however, to make the hunger easier to fill up right now would mean that people would be literally bathing in food and wouldn't ever have to worry about going hungry, ever, so food production should become a quite a bit harder to begin with, which would limit the leveling speed on that side. We've also got another idea in store that should make the FEP system more interesting, but it isn't fully worked out quite yet.
