or is their another idea in the works.

I was thinking of transportation regarding animals, I see 2 ideas that could (if possible) work.

1) a new choice in the cow/goat menu to "carry", make the animal icon the size of a pumpkin (so you can only carry 1) and upon selection it would go into your inventory?

2) would work for some short distance travel (this way would solve my porblem anyway) and that's just the implentation of bridges. Make a birdge with chunks, planks and plant fibres. It can decay as normal things. This would allow at least some leash traveling and work for some people's ability to trade or transport animals? Bridges would be nice regardless but thaey would help with animal transport too.

Just some thoughts.

Making them liftable like chests and evrything else is way better than taking inventory space.
Bridges wont be done, though. :(

How are you going to fit a cow in your backpack? XD

edit: er.. misread that.. lift option would be better >_>

On another note, dead animals still can't be put in boats and carts D:

yeah making them liftable would make sense i guess, or just have them teleport with you if they are leashed.

I agree this would seem to be easier to implement by just changing their code value to liftable. However that particular trait is coded.

Teleporting them with you when they're leashed is the way to go, because it would probably be reusable for carts.

But seriously, implement this ASAP. Newbs would be a lot better off if they could just buy cows.

The problem with that is that all liftable objects arent mobs. It could create some nasty bugs
