Reduce amount of milk needed for butter

We all know cheese production gave an ridiculous amount of feps for almost no effort, so it needed adjustment, which happened with domestication. The milk income has been significantly lowered, basically it has been kicked in the nuts, then thrown into a river, then shot with a pumpgun, but meh.

However, the downside of this, is that carrotcakes, applepies and raisincakes are redundant items. No one would waste precious milk for such low fep items when they can have cheese. Furthermore Psy gain got shot too. Its now even easier to get bulbs than the needed butter, and yes it was a pita to gain bulbs!

So i think it wouldn't hurt to lower the amount of milk needed for butter significantly. I cant think of a proper number, but i guess everything above one liter isn't worth making butter fep wise.

Alternatively boost the FEP gains from items that require butter - at the moment they are not worth the effort even if butter was easier to make.

Alternatively, remap the entire FEP map. Not the recipes and what not, just the amount of FEPs given for the foods, considering the new stats and realities of play.

I've said this elsewhere. One alternative we came up with was making carrot cakes whole and tins of (6) muffins. The would be cut after cooking into the pieces we have now that provide teh same FEP's. They might require more flour or eggs or some shit.

Anyway it's done, I support.

My own line of thinking is some slight reworks to domestication. The present incarnation is a bit harsh on newbs and players who just want to play harvest moon. There should at least be a peaceful option for getting livestock.

How's that going to solve the problems one has AFTER you get the cows?

The problem with that is the coding effort.
Changing the needed milk for butter is changing one single value and one picture.

It would still not be worth making butter. The problem isnt getting the cows, the problem is feeding the required stock. If you want to have spare milk for butter without regretting it on not using it for milk you would need at least 30 cows, feeding them is a fulltime job.

A peaceful solution is to make them transportable(encourages trade) (fucking finally).
And make fence gates (fucking fucking finally).
