Say what now? Too much griefing?

My translation" A comment: I find the game very interesting. However it is very discouraging each day when I log in to see that my efforts have been reduced to none by looting. I wanted to take up the game but I'm not able to take pleasure in enlarging my village because of the plundering which is allowed.

I had no trouble understanding this poster but perhaps it is because I grew up in a French/English bilingual country. His English is no worse than my French!

Lilloux: Certain aggressive players like to try to intimidate other players both by trashing their efforts and by being unkind in the forum. If you get yeomanry you can make a claim on your property that will discourage almost all thieves. However this costs 4000 points which can take long enough to mean a few days of playing are wasted on getting those points. Another thing you can try is starting a new character out in the wilderness. The best way of discouraging is by building your village where they can't easily find it. As for the forum posters who bluster unhelpfully -they can be ignored.

Cette un jeu excellante. Essaye encore. Il ya plusiers de jouers sympathetiques. Il ya seulment un peu qu fait les mauvaises, mais ils faisant trop de bruits.

It takes like an hour and a half to get yeomanry starting with a brand new character.

If you know what you're doing, probably. I know I didn't, and I had help.
Come back two hours earlier.

I think you'd need fairly ideal conditions to do this, as well as knowing what you are doing. Try doing it on an island without fruit trees, without any kind of meadow/heath/moorland and with rather poor fishing conditions and nothing better than q10 clay! My partner is giving me plenty of good guidance as she has some experience, but we find grinding very difficult since all the food we get has to be tracked down and runs out quickly. We are working with a finite supply of bunnies and chantrelles as our base food supply.

However, your point is taken. A few days of play is my outside estimate for getting yeomanry, and that presuming a language barrier making information hard to get.
