Inactive player->inactive hearthfire

Postby warrri » Thu Jan 14, 2010 12:56 pm

Since wilderness spawning was implemented i see more and more hearthfires on my route, which lower the animal level (DO NOT WANT). As we know the game is still, and wilderness spawning does by no mean make it better, very noobunfriendly. So most of these newbies play for one day, but their hearth fire lowers the animal level forever/until someone leaves theft scents...

Quick solution to this would be making hearthfires from chars that are inactive, as in didnt login for a week or so, not lower the animal level anymore. They should however maintain all of their functions and start to spread civ as soon as the char becomes active again(if it ever does..)

Ever wonder if it's all for you
The world I love The trains I hop To be part of The wave can't stop
Come and tell me when it's time to

thats a good idea, and i would even do the same with everything that spreads civ... like cabins or at least villages...
the idea of those levels is that civlisation repels nature, but why would some cabins or even abandoned villages hold off nature from taking back what belongs to her?

Maybe this could be combined with the "You have to visit your hearth regularly or suffer debuff" suggestion that has come up before?

Or it could just be added as it is because it's simple, solves a problem without bringing up more.
Oh and it's not completely shit like the debuff suggestion, how bout that.

Hearth fires shouldn't give civ at all imho.
