A forum search didn't turn up this idea.

Could there be a "Landscaping" option to dig canals? The action would have a high stamina drain, but would allow for the gradual construction of waterways.

Additionally, has the idea of building bridges been suggested yet?

I searched for that. It revealed a Watery town thread (whos OP was talking about building venice). :P So I didn't consider it.

I was referring to the bridges, not the canals.

based on the fact that there is no concievable method of implementation. I still say make it a building.

Since many games have bridges in them, why is it impossible in this one? I'm sure the devs could do it. :D And yes, it would have to be a building. I guess the trouble is that the game has no z axis, as such.
