New thrown weapon: Atlatl?

I think I'll let the video speak for itself:

7-year old (marksman 10?) deer hunting

I'll be making one of those this very afternoon, also I want my own reservate with near-tame deer to kill :-)

Damn. I spent my childhood in BFE trying to sneak up on deer as a pastime. I never got nearly that close, after 10 years of practice. That is not a wild deer.

Cart before the horse. Implement javelins or spears first (one of the most basic weapons), then add the atlatl.

That deer could possibly be wild. Many deer with human interaction near them grow accustom and will come around more and get braver. The reason the dear didnt flip was cause the kid moved slowly but technically this could of been deadly if for any reason the deer decided to charge it could easily kill this kid. Happened at a park somehwere near me kid fed the deer candy deer wanted ore kid refused and the deer killed it by shoving its small hoof in the boys heart.
My motions are swift as a eagle, on my worst day I am still Lethal. No challenge, only start me when you learn the ripples of a butterflies heartbeat.
