Pumpkins are too big

Can you make pumpkins smaller and hold less seeds and flesh.

Maybe like 2x2 (4 seeds/flesh) or 3x3 (6 seeds/flesh)

The way they are now I can hold only 1 pumpkin in my inventory and it makes it really tedious to harvest a pumpkin patch.

Also can pumpkin seeds automatically go into seedbags when you slice a pumpkin, manually adding them after I slice my oversized pumphin only adds to the madness.

Oh and of course the ability to cook pumpkin would be nice.

No. Leave the number pumpkin seeds alone and add pumpkin flesh to the list of things that go in troughs. Also seedbags are broken and useless just use a damn chest or cupboard on the side of the field or even better a trough since we are talking about pumpkins here.

Pumpkins recipes I agree with we need those.

This. Pumpkins are fine. Just make new recipes for them.

Well pumpkins take up a 4x4 slot in a 6x5 bag where a plate armor only takes up a 2x2 spot.

I can't even hold 2 pumpkins at a time. Only reason why I suggest changing the ammount of seeds and flesh is because I am asking them to reduce the size. If they reduce the size then they should reduce the seeds per pumpkin to fit the reduced size.

Why would you want to hold multiple pumpkins?

I agree with Avu, let us put flesh in through. Hell, all crop parts should go in through, why the hell would cows be pickier eaters than hearthlings?

I mean if they reduce pumpkin size they can also add mupliple (smaller) pumpkins per harvest and seed and flesh ammount doesn't have to be decreased overall. You could get 2 pumpkins at neutral and 3 at full nature. Eah pumpkin can have 4 flesh and 4 seeds. That wouldn't change it up too much and actually make harvesting pumpkins not a stop and go affair. if they made them 3x3 you can only hold 2 pumpkins at a time but that si much better than 1 pumpkin. or if they made it 2x2 you canhave 6 pumpkins at a time.

I don't disagree with this statement but this alone doesn't make pumpkins more manageable in your inventory.

the problem really isn't that the pumpkins are too large, it's that inventories are too small.

You would still only be able to hold one tile worth of pumpkins, only now you'd have to drop them 3 at a time instead of just one. Unless you're advocating less seeds and flesh per tile of pumpkin crop, which would just make them pointless (ton of seeds per tile is the only thing pumpkins have going for them).

Make backpack and merch robe Ql further expand inventory.
