Stop Suicide by Sushi!

Postby VowOfSilence » Tue Feb 02, 2010 3:00 pm

So i almost got myself killed the other day (1 hp left!).
How? Apparently, i ate too much sushi with a few onions.

Now that's just wierd. Eating raw fish and even meat isn't harmful.
If you're unlucky, you might get sick if the animal was sick. As far as i know, humans started cooking mainly because of that, and also because the food will last longer, is easier to chew and you can eat more without getting stomach ache. And what's wrong with onions, anyway?

Either way, the punishment for eating raw food is imo way over the top...

Just roast it over a fire, where is the problem? Or go full barbarism. Oh and ever tried eating a whole onion?

1hp + permadeath is the problem. I'm probably not the first newbie who did this by accident, and i won't be the last.
Oh, and i love sushi.

i'm not quite sure what really killed me - i was just experimenting with fep and eating different stuff, also raw meat - if i remember correctly, that also gave me black fep.

i think raw boar, bear, rabbit and maybe fox give black fep. cow doesn't. not sure about sheep. generally it's a good idea to cook meat.

Cut it into wedges and dip it into ranch or blue cheese dressing. Excellent.

I know people who eat them like apples. It's disgusting but not hazardous.

Arguments from realism aside, I kind of like the effect that some food is bad for you. Also... just build a fire and roast them? :)
