Belts with a pupose

Postby NaoWhut » Sat Feb 06, 2010 8:53 pm

maybe if the belt had an inventory
section where you can place pouches,
weapons and other belt related items?

like if you made it so that seed
pouches would fit onto a belt they
wouldn't be so useless?

And if there was a pouch for rocks
that could go on the belt that would
be cool too so i don't have to walk
around with a pocketfull of rocks =P

Water flasks and skins fitting on a
belt? eh? eh?

and possibly pouches for coins? and
eventually poison? =D

Anything and everything that increases the size of our inventories. Looking forward to horses with saddlebags.

i totally agree with!

and for horses, i would give up my beautiful life as a farmer and go out into the wilderness with my horse.
hunting everything, build a fire to roast my lunch, sleeping in a leanto bed every day!

This has been an idea for months I believe, in the form of KEYRINGS
Poor mans belt is useless, allow us a 6 cell empty slot where only keys are placeable.

Also tossed out there: Carpenter belt, 2 slots for saw and axe only, buffs carpentry slightly and allows for empty hands and quick access to a weapon swap if neccesary.

Smithing apron, same thing, but with smithing hammer and maybe later bellows.

And the everpopular Utility Belt, when you need to grappling hook your way over a ditch.

I don't care about the modern idea of
what belts are for i'm talking about
strapping anything that will fit there
onto a belt, i could strap a seed pouch
on one hip, a sword on the other, my
axe for trees on my behind and a a knife
in front.

there shouldn't be any special belts just
belts with differant things on them, otherwise
everyone has their own fancy little belt that
magically buffs their ability to saw wood
or smith metal. Whereas back then it was
just a strapping whatever fits there so you
didn't have to leave it behind. Sure we may
be based off Slavic and Germanic myths
"somewhat" but i think belts able to hold your
sword and pouches would be nice... not this
toolbelt and apron crap =P

How do you fit a plank in a backpack?

strap that plank onto the top of the backpack
with the long part at either of your sides.

They must make really short planks where you come from.

But the point is, no sense in going into details what goes where.
