Taming Animals

In the new combat system, is there a way to reduce combat intensity? Also, raising combat advantage requires standing next to the beast and hoping it doesn't hit you. If it does, it virtually resets the advantage. Will this be possible without metal armor? I have only QL15 leather and the cow beat the snot out of me.

After some experimentation, taming sheep is actually easier than before. The abilities needed are in new skills that have to be purchased. I'll have to try a cow as they hit like trucks now.

Cow also possible with exploit gates. Make sure you have armor.

I'm pretty sure there is a move to reduce intensity, can't recall the name though. Probably unlocked with one of the soldier skills.
I suggest you check the thread testing thread page two in the announcements forum.

I found out there were more skills, including consume flames to reduce intensity. Also with leadership, you don't even have to get close to the cow/sheep to get init tokens.
