disease would be cool, but think about the poor newbs with the amazing power of nothingness. think of how many will die before they even realize how to eat a loaf of bread! think of the newbs!
still like the idea though, but we need a way for newbs to live, like, maybe this: 1 branch and 1 stone=mortar and pestle. then, a new foragable item (or an old one), grind it up in the m&p to make a salve, then apply the salve to cure disease. this could be labeled as Alchemy, make Foraging, and maybe Plantl Lore a requirement for it. But you can make all sorts of salves from the start, then, after farming, more stuff, and after glass-making, some kind of potions (liquid medicine was usaully witch-craft for a long time, anyway) the potions may be pushing it, but i like the salves. it can be used to heal yourself and cure diseases, and of course, you can move Boar Tusk Snuff under it, as well as many, many possibilites for this.
