The Suggestion Index 2: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Postby Bigfish » Fri Feb 19, 2010 7:59 pm

Old thread is dead, may the new live longer!
ArPharazon wrote:This is meant to be a list of all the suggestions posted, with links to relevant topics and a summary. It is split them "Dev items" for what Jorb or Loftar said they want, Wanted for missing features "Critical Must-Haves: which seriously hamper gameplay, "Nifty things" which would be very cool but can wait, and "Bloats" for things which could be nice but which we can live without and not really miss much.

Of course, I initially decide on the category, so you may disagree with where your thing ends up. Feel free to complain/yell/flame me over PM or the forum, and unless I have a strong reason to disagree I'll change the category. Anyway, I don't mean to impose my own view of what is and what is not worth implementing on everyone, but I think an Index would be useful for the devs and everyone else. More so if there was information on what the playerbase want most badly, so we might as well agree on a sort of priority list.

I fully expect the devs to ignore this and add whatever the hell they feel like, though. It's their game, after all.

I will put the most recently submitted threads at the top of each section for a better overview.

If you want your idea to be added, PM it to me formatted like so:

Well, seeing as how you're apparently looking for ideas, delete the first half of 1.8. Stat debuffs while committing criminal actions is a shitty idea. Town and claim defenses are excellent, but should require some investment beyond 'I have a town/claim'. TRAPS. LOCKS. TRAPS. LOCKS. </broken record>

This.

And as has been suggested elsewhere, offline village exiling.

Also, Diplomatic functions for intervillage claims.

You have taken a very opinionated choice of forum posts as your list. In most cases you only showed one side. Other forum ideas you have completely ignored. If you want to maintain a list of forum ideas, you should show both sides of every arguement, be as impartial as possible. Otherwise, it's just your wish list. not a forum one.

Thats why i put links behind each idea, so you can read the whole thread and concern all sides.

Are you talking about 4.1? That's ot vague. Allow villages to erase domestic scents with authority. THere should also be more village roles. Or instead of roles, a system of ranks.

but spot on everything else.

Sorry dude but I'm totally with Jackard on this one. LP should just be scrapped altogether.
