Have it so you can read runestones and parchment without clicking on them.

With addition to that, engraving/stamping things would be extremely nice as well. With mouseover.

One should be able to chip runestones for rock, and this should eventually erase or destroy the stone.

That would be RIDICULOUSLY hard. Have you ever tried to chip something into a stone before? I reckon pictures on runestones would have to be pretty darned primitive, nothing at all like the lovely illuminated maps we make on parchment
