Bigger Carts

i would like to build carts with more storage slots. one that combined the features of a normal cart and a leanto would be especially nice

The current carts about at large as a hand-pulled cart could justifiably be, anything large should probably be draft-animal pulled which will require a lot more work on the domestication side of things.

I do find the carts small myself, however 8 is kind of overkill. Sometimes limitations are for the better, 6 seems reasonable.

I don't see why 8 is excessive. 8 chests full of clay into a cart would be pretty heavy i'll grant you that but...

...in a weight based inventory that could have a relevant effect!

I like this. If it's going to have the lean-to's functionality, it'd make sense if it required linen for a tarp. Maybe also a bit of metal for the wheel base or something, to keep with the principle of progressively more expensive improvement (like cabin->house->mansion, or backpack->robe).

Anyway, if this offered crime protection like the lean-to, nomad lifestyle would be finally viable. Until you run into a river and can't take this baby across, that is. Maybe pay a homage to a great game and allow us to caulk this and float it, though I guess this would be hard to implement.
