Use HF's to Roast

I always thought this would be nifty but it has come about that this would actually be a valid....if not necessary...game mechanic between such highly encouraged deforestation and limitations on branches.

Sounds nice, but maybe there should be some trade off? Setting up a hearth fire isn't difficult and the resources are easily attainable. For having a continuous source for cooking you would sacrifice FEP for the food you are cooking. That can be a good or bad thing depending on what it is you are cooking.

If I find someone desecrating my hearthfire in such a way, I'll kill them.

its very simple. not everything nice needs a disadvantage and campfires remain useful because theyre more portable than hearths

also your example was really bad

b12ers really have the worst ideas

(usually something along the lines of 'make this more tedious and/or like DF')
