New arrows

Why not put a good use to all those bear teeth and chicken feathers we have to spare;

I present: The Sheaf Arrow; at q10: 30 damage, IEMM: 2

required to craft: 1 branch, 1 bear tooth, 3 chicken feathers.
suggested formula:(((2*branch quality + bear tooth quality + feather1q + feather2q + feather3q)/6)+ SQRT(survival*DEX))/2, rounded down

And, to add to the mayhem: The Ranger's Arrow: at q10: 40 damage, IEMM: 2

required to craft: 1 branch, 1 silver nugget, 1 piece of silk cloth
suggested forumula: ((2*branch quality + silk quality)/3 + SQRT(survival*PSY))/2, rounded down
Yay! Another use for PSY!

No one ever made a silver arrowhead the idea is ridicules as silver is a soft metal, an Iron arrowhead would on the other hand be very appropriate as the best arrow. Also I'd lower the feather count to 1, remember 3 feathers is the total plumage of a chicken so 'one' feather is more then literally one feather.

first of all improvements to arrows should follow a change to the crafting system where you make an arrow shaft first and then could apply any type of arrowhead to it, with the option of attaching feathers (not silk lol are you kidding me)

second of all a bear tooth would be a shitty arrowhead and so would silver

finally, when you post ideas you really shouldn't get too specific like going into formulas for stuff. the devs aren't going to listen to you on shit like that anyway.

But no, the different arrow heads, they have the different uses. It is this way if you do the hunt with bow in serious.

The blunt arrow head that is used for stunning, the arrow head with wings to tear the feathers off a bird in flight and bring it down. The sharp and thin is made to pierce deep if a hide is thick as when you hunt the bear. An arrow head of soft metal, it would be the same as the bullet made of lead. It would spread as it sinks into the flesh and make the wound greater.

Why could there not be many types of arrow in the game? You would not use a silver arrow head upon a man dressed in the metal armor, but you might use it upon a man unarmoured or upon a rabbit.

I don't know which is worse your knowledge of Archery or you command of English, shooting a bird in flight didn't become practical until the shotgun and arrow heads are not going even remotely fast enough to 'mushroom' like a hollow tipped bullet, firing a silver tipped arrow at a rabbit is so obviously ridiculous as to be laughable (Hint the arrow costs more then a whole bag of rabbits).

Maybe instead of having metal tipped arrows do more damage, have them be more easily retrieved? Instead of vanishing most of the time, a metal tipped arrow might have a 90% chance to appear on the ground below the animal (or player).
