Full industry

Basically it doesn't feel very "industrious". One random thought that I had was that at full industry you get an extra log from cutting trees, and some extra branches.

Essentially the mind set is that this is actually something that makes you quite a bit more industrious. Logically it's along the lines not having to "respect" nature, and knowing how to work as efficiently as possible.

Interesting... So you'd have foresters planting trees and woodcutters cutting them down.

I don't know, though; it makes sense that one character would be able to handle all the woodcutting.
Surprise.

Taking more from nature doesn't mean you disrespect it. Same argument can be made for seeds or by products of plants, do you want full industry getting bonuses for those too? Industry is more for the "man-made". Thats the way I see it, at least.

If you want more logs from trees then why not have a metal axe that gives an extra log, similar to the metal saws extra 2 boards? That way its at least industry related

I agree that industry is behind. I would like to see it be mostly beneficial in secondary production rather than raw materials.

The lumbering suggestion seems like a reasonable idea but I can see myself in a world of pain if one of the most common building materials in H&H is suddenly unavailable for me (assuming it's a harsh punishment like the other things sliders effect)

Yes a production boost that actually uses an incremental skill or two would probably be best.

An increase in building speed or reduced stamina drain for building? Maybe being able to work longer than others before getting the "you are too tired to do that" message?

Those are the only ideas I had that might fit the industry slider.

Not sure if this is the right direction, but I do think that Industry needs a boost. Being full industry myself, I feel really gimped, especially if I wanted to hermit.
Crops and nature things are a required part of a functioning village. Metal is just nice.
