Ceramic colors

It would be cool if ceramics came in different colors, possibly relating to different regions.

By ceramics, I mainly mean brick and stone, with colors affecting the color of roads, structures, and pottery. Glass color could vary as well.

Mainly I think it would be cool if big cities like Sodom or New Brodgar could pave designs, and if goods were somewhat identifiable by region.

Fuck yeah fuck yeah fuck yeah. We need more localization of goods. Maybe even specific kinds of fish and trees (with still the same functionalities). Esthetic items available only from region-specific materials would boost trade so bad.

IIRC the devs said a while ago they'd like to do it, but I guess it just isn't very high on priorities list.

i had been juggling this idea for a while but i was thinking more along the lines of dies. I think regional coloration would be pretty sweet. Be sweeter if you had to cross oceans to find those regions... ;)

Better than arbitrary item color, implementing dyes would be much cooler. This was already suggested many times and put down because its not a great priority. But yea, i would SO like dyes for decoration purpose only.
