Running while carrying

I find it ridiculous that carrying an empty wicker basket will reduce you to the same speed that carrying a boat filled with two ore-filled chests would. Even if carrying something will change your speed to crawl, there needs to be an option to walk or perhaps even run with objects. I propose that carrying something at a speed higher than crawling will increase stamina drain, depending on the object (A basket's going to be lighter than a cupboard or boat), possibly the player's strength, and speed. Some objects might require a certain amount of strength to even be carried faster than crawling speed, like a cupboard or boat due to its weight.

I second the suggestion to give items mass (and weight) and then calculating available speeds from the weight, with wheeled vehicles (carts, later wagons) reducing the weight of their contains while ships and rafts (and anything that swims) carry a "form factor" instead of weight.
