Frog suggestions

Postby SevenBlade » Tue Mar 16, 2010 2:48 am

My current homestead is by a huge swamp, thus I get lots of frogs running around.

I was wondering if you could implement the ability to butcher frogs, perhaps for generic meat to roast or perhaps some higher quality stuff.

Adding to that, it'd be cool if you could create a new kind of building to contain and breed captured frogs, the pond!

The pond would act similiar to the chicken coop.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, just throwing ideas out there.

Eating Frogs, been said, others posted, you fail at searching.
Frog Breeding. LOL HAHAHA, WTH????

But yes. The Frogs should be able to be used as Bait or something, like its been said in other threads, these random spawns of critters could have additional uses...

I want to be able to glue frogs to things, so that those items hop around as if they are alive.

Beats sailing around looking for a full inventory of rabbits for twenty minutes.

And it could give a consistant food source to those who don't have the straw for a chicken coop.

sounds like a "Life wish" skill. with the description "everything is edible. but not everybody is hungry enough", this skill allows to butcher and eat frogs and rats as well as to eat barks, cones, acorns, catkins, nettles, and leather.
<offtopic><offensive content>together with "murder" enables the skill "abominable sin", description "sanity's sleep gives birth to monsters" (somebody correct the quotation). this skill allows butchering human corpses for 1-3 bone materials, 1-3 units of flesh (1 to all FEP, 10 black FEP), a heart and a skull. search and lurk the cannibalism thread for further details on skulls as materials in crafting.</offensive content>
BTW, combining "murder" and "lawspeaking" should enable the action "decapitate" on a corpse or "execution" on a KO-ed player, both requiring sword or axe. and a crafted item "talking head on pole", made from 3-4 branches, a dozen dreams and said head.</offtopic>
