hello!
i started to play this game 2 days ago and i love it, its like the good old ultima online.

my brother and me currently playing a little bit with the iphone SDK (for windows) and its not really catchy... it is C-based.

so my idea is, to convert Haven and Hearth to the iphone.

how do you feel about this?

Guess what this is: ,|,,,
 Why not just be a normal person instead of an apple whore? and correct if i am wrong, but doesn't the mac have issues with H&H? How the hell would they get it to work on the iPhone if it doesn't work on the mac? And besides, i don't think they really care...maybe some random person who likes to make clients might take up the challenge, but J&L are busy with other stuff (like a new Combat System???)

It works on a Mac nowadays. It's just when Loftar and Jorb make stupid, meaningless updates (such as the combat system) that the client decides to randomly crash. It actually has to do with the versions of Java being run, and as such isn't really Mac based at all.

iPhone doesn't natively support java... I believe you can get java ME working on it with only moderate effort.

iPhone does support openGL, buggered if I'd know whether the jogl tie in would work on it though.

My advice is to give it a go and see what you come up with. Use google to figure it all out
