Minimap Interaction

I think that it would be a good idea for you to interact with the map.
What I mean by this is that when you click on to a certain spot of the map, your character will go there.
So for example, if your character is in the center of the minimap, and you click north of the character on the minimap, he will go north, to where you clicked.

The only reason I could see anyone suggesting this is because their screen is too small.

Or they can't get Pacho's client to work. Or it's too resource intensive for their poor old laptop (moi).

Well, moving in a boat really IS clicktastic, even with Pachos. I support minimap movement.

edit:
While we're at it... am i the only one who's confused by the fact that Up/Down ingame isn't Up/Down on the minimap? Like, if i move right ingame, i'm moving to the lower right corner of the minimap...

Anyone that says isometric up is North is wrong. Right-click a cornerpost or fence and it will tell you the direction it can extend in; none of them are isometric cardinal directions.
