Without a key

Postby Thijssnl » Sun Mar 21, 2010 4:37 pm

Someone of my village finished a gate while I asked to stay off all gates. We dont have metal, and he dropped the key somewhere he doesnt remember.
I dont have any means of destroying the gate, me with 30 str being the highest of all my friends.
What should/can I do? (insert rude comments below)

Anyways, I support abstract keys, or passwords. Everything better then having to think who gets which key to what gate if you dont have iron and even when its nicely planned it gets fucked up

You're clearly an idiot. I can't exactly steal an abstracted key from you, now, can I?

And that's precisely why people don't build any gates at all.

You're clearly an idiot. You can't exactly play a successful thief if you blind yourself to new ideas, now, can you?

Climbing walls = great
Picking locks = great
Reducing the number of things that a thief can steal, just so that farmers and hunters don't have to carry keys around = not so great, especially now that 18 keys takes up the space of two

So? Make walls climbable. If you can climb you can thieve, otherwise noone comes in. Your a tad ignorant.
