Trading is dead compared with the second world, look at the current "Apples For Oranges" -Thread.

bring back the "Ring of Brodgar", only for cities with more than 30/40 or 50 members.
made out of a huge amount of cellar stones (boulders), add a new option to these large stones "Extract Boulder"...

and the "Ring of ..." should have no city authority, if people want they have to build banners.

this could bring back teleportation and bulk-trading to the game and is also useful for a big market place with vending stands (if needed)!

How is this idea better than crossroads?

I'd love to see the RoB buildable in some form (I was hoping for chak's uniques for it) however my opposition of more teleporting is fairly well documented.

how can people trade who are not member of a city?

Walk to nearest city, take crossroad from there to wherever?

Join a city but don't live in it, then you can travel to charter stone or idol?

Allow the option of making your charterstone function in the same way as the old ROB: anyone can teleport to it.

Also, everyone can teleport to theTrav's bedroom.
