First player experience

A picture show more than 1000 words...

When a freshly spawned player gets killed within the first 2 minutes for no reason at all... something is imho plainly wrong with the game mechanics or the game itself.

Well if that guy really did just spawn in the middle of a village with random spawning location (not using a hearth secret or something) that's a terrible terrible flaw in the spawning code.

Luck of the draw, though you would think you wouldn't spawn so close to claims and village influence... odd.

The spawn was made using the trapdoor.

Point also wasn't that the char spawned at a busy location, point is that people running around insulting and killing everything that moves as first contact scenario gives an excellent chance of playerCount -= 1 and possibly potentialPlayerCont -= >100 by adding a review titled griefers paradise to the google search...

Brodgar is an Open city with a charterstone, the difference between us and that village is that we will only swat you away if you start dragging cupboards out of buildings and making off with containers and plows when we step away from them. Then again its kinda easy to spot the Griefers some times. They come weilding nothing but an offensive or keyboardsmashed name...

Seriously, who would think that a Village, even an open village like brodgar, would accept someone called BRODGARHATER or BRODGARSUCKSMYCOCK...

Yes those two have been seen around the village, attempting to clean out our fish supplies before the update, funny thing was is when we attempted to talk to them they say nothing, jump in a boat and travel a short distance out of sight, but not area chat. We stay silent, listen to themselves gloat about how COOL and HIP they are, 'Dawg did you see the way I talk smack to that Fool... (Translate to leet for some reason)...

Yeah, like we are no going to swat you like the flies you are when you come back to try again. OH how I laugh when I see them shoeless and running around forest tiles...
[Politics] The word was derived by the joining of two others, Poli - A Latin word meaning Many. And Tics - Annoying Bloodsucking Parasites...

Well, in this case the welcome comitee was solely staffed by folks from a place called Xanadu.
