Guys, i was planning a trading road, then i saw that there were too many rivers between a city and another, so i thought "Okay, gonna build some crossroads on the way." then i discovered that a crossroad can be built only in a Village Claim. That mean that one of the villages should build statues and banner all over the world to be able to put a Crossroad.
Ok. Almost impossible. Then what? Signs.
We already have rocks, like signs, but those are so commons and used for everything, that no one whould read a rock. I would suggest a new kind of sign.
A simple one, wooden sign, similar to crossroads. You put your sign and you can:
A: Put a wooden arrow on it that tell you the direction of the city
B: And write on something. Peraphs the name of the City and the distance (if you know it).
It don't need any claim, it can't be broken and it decay after looooong time. (One people may use days of travel to put signs around the world, then the first troll destroy it all? Better let the sign decay in his long time.)
Only member of a village can add an arrow and only an arrow of his own village. Then a single sign can have differents arrows of differents villages, and you can delete only your own.
The Arrow could be like the party arrow, or maybe just an arrow on the sign (so you could choose in wich direction put the arrow. 8 possible directions)
What do you think? To me it is really usefull.
