Gosh, you people won't stop complaining until you can 1hit bears with 10ua. We all know hunting and combat in general needs a serious overhaul, but the healing ability of deer is the slightest of concerns in this. Just get a q40ish sling, 50 perc and 80mm and you will be fine even killing whole herds of deer. Where would be the fun if hunting big game provided no challenge at all?

Deer healing is not realistic and that, in my own preference, is retarded. I support the self-healing at this stage, since at least there is one animal that you can't kill by yourself from the get go, you actually need to work at your stats and it just makes it so much more rewarding when you are actually finally able to kill one by yourself.

What is retarded is the gayness of the fauna - I'm an advocate for more animal types, more depth and range and better AI (being worked on I know) and a bigger challenge.

I do agree though that unlimited 'mana' and animals not having HHP sucks.

Don't hunt deer on ur own, if ur not strong enough, at LEAST two.

Does it have 50000000HP? Nope, does it heal each second? Nope. Is it in anyway mathematically similar to the deer now? Not at all. Deer heal and you can't kill them early on, you will have to live with stats untill you have high enough stats so you CAN kill them. Taking the healing out takes a lot of the challenge out too, and turns the game into an even bigger grind.
