Cut down on Tree Planting Tedium

1: Require one unit of soil per pot instead of four.
2: Let trees survive on the bench for at least 26 hours. So people who only play for an hour a day have a chance.

Better yet, how about you get rid of the whole "tree pot" thing. Let us put tree seeds/fruits/etc right on a table or in a drying rack and plant the "sprouted" seed right away. Maybe add some chance of failure somewhere but that's it.

What's the worst case scenario for making it easy to plant trees? griefers running around treeing everybody?

Though if such an extreme change was made, I would be fine with trees actually taking longer to grow; as it is, some trees seem to take less time to grow than some crops.
Surprise.

I like tree pots.

I agree with not making the trees die so quickly when left on the bench though, it should take them at least the amount of time it would take the planted tree to grow one stage

Tree in pot should not die at all. People grow up many kinds of trees in their apartments in pots and even get fruits from them.

You questioned all people growing trees at home? There might well be a pine or fir being grown somewhere.
May seem I'm trolling but really think before you state things as a fact.

They're probably not getting fruit from them though. :)

Hmm, after planting some 20-30 thousand trees IRL I think I know my shit to some degree. Of course, may well be possible that an internet besserwisser who had a cool, intuative idea knows better.

Now go ponder the differences between a container-grown orange "tree" and a fir.

20-30 thousand yourself? How old are you?
Anyway, like I said not just trolling. I can state the earth is flat because people have thought it for thousands of years, still doesnt make me right.
Good you think you know your stuff but there's so much miniature trees or just trees in pots (even though they shouldnt be according to you).

But yeh just say you know better and dis me or something. Doesnt work like that.

Miniature trees are a different breed or species from the large trees featured in game.
