I believe walling behind signs of unbuilt things is kinda unrealistic and cheap and makes melee combat almost useless against everything but bears.

Its true I hate how those construction signs are littered everywhere and can't even decay.
I'd like to see different traps and ways to kill for each animal.

I'm just pointing out that it's so easy to hunt while ranged and so far while melee.

A)make the post not an object but a pic
A+B)Make it so MOBs can go throw post (remove the if mob come in contact with post w/e)

problem solved =/
Dev are just to lazy to go throw the codes and do it ;p

unless the MOBs are a masking script under human then there screwed and need to write a new AI script for it.

Not quite, seeing how it introduces new problems instead. For instance, what would happen, now, if there were an animal "inside" the construction object at the time when it was finished?

To avoid weird special cases and even weirder recursive special cases arising from spurious fixes for previous weirdness, I have been very adamant at keeping bounding box integrity as unviolated as possible.

Make aggroed animals attack CS on thier way - then make CS drop shit in it while destroyed - (just the unused ones.) ? Maybe something like that.
