Animals outside walls should lose aggro.

Animals outside walls should lose aggro.

Maybe this should be in the bug forum, but I think it's intentional, just... annoying.

I just saw a boar on my property, and decided enough is enough, I don't want to get knocked out by a boar again. So I went and grabbed my sling, but got attacked before I could do anything else. So I ran like the wind for my lovely palisaded well, trapped it outside, logged out... and 20 minutes later, I'm still standing there with the boar attacking me, and I've been standing there snoring. Can't the animals lose aggro after a while?

It looks like I'm going to have to open the door and face the music... of course I could try trapping the boar in there, but I'd need to let it in to attack me, turn it around, etc...

Edit: I opened the door, walked past, found that for some reason it couldn't move. I laughed in its face, walked further out... and then it charged at me and dealt 120 damage. :(

Anyone else agree that we should be able to get rid of animals by taking shelter behind palisade for a while? :?:

You could have gotten rid of aggro if you had been smarter. But you aren't.

Well I suppose the suggestion makes sense, but why did you trap yourself inside a little box instead of running into the cabin?

Reminds me of the thread where the guy walled himself in with a herd of wild rams...

Boar was near the entrance to the cabin when it charged, and I was already on my way to my well with treeplanter's pots requiring water.

By the way,
