A few thoughts after a week of playing.
- Homing pigeon. You build some kind of birdcage via the build menu, that works pretty much like a mailpost - you can send letters to known people, check inbox or etc. Party chat is kinda practical, but not so much realistic unlike many other things in H&H. Waiting for a friend's letter can add to athmosphere a lot, i believe. Also, this can open up such possibilities like espionage and blackmailing. And imagine the joy of reading someone's correspondence (or even diaries and journals, but thats the other story about crafting books).
By the way, existing parchment messaging is a leap forward after a stone age of runecarving. BUT why not add an opportunity to set a subject and make minor justifying (like in real e-mail)?
- Fractures. Well, thats pretty arguably, but it could be a big pain in the ass of any thief or robber. On the other hand - of any other player too. Breaking trespasser's arm of leg instead of just killing him on sight, could be a good, humanly thing to do.
- Player-to-player trade window. Nothing much to tell about it, except it can save a lot of time.
- Rotating things before building them. Same here, except for "a lot of space"
