Flower pots for decoration?

Maybe this is just a silly idea and there's other priorities, but i'll throw it out there. Seeing how the only use for poppy flowers is in snuff, what if they added a new ceramic object like a flower vase or pot, and you could collect a bunch of poppy flowers and put them in? It would be a liftable oject that you could set wherever you wanted then, and serve absolutely no purpose other than to look snazzy. Maybe you could put in straw or inkweed or whatever to make different arrangements with different sprites?

If you REALLY wanted a purpose you could make it attract hypothetical "birds and bees" to boost crop gowth like beehives, but i don't think that's necessary. I like the idea of having a purely useless, purely aesthetic object in the game. (and i feel guilty throwing out poppy flowers)

We share the same guilt xD

I thought of something similar that might be compatible with your idea yet easier to implement. Using poppy flowers to plant randomly colored flower tiles on grass tiles. Chance for procedure to succeed would be something in range of 10-20 percent. Ingame it would be treated as ordinary grass tile but different graphics. Subtle dots of purple, red, yellow, white and blue would break current grass tile monotony.
Similar thing exists in Wurm online, so its nothing new, but enriches the game.

Actually there's a simple purpose for flowers besides looking pretty that actually makes sense, they could attract/increase the spawn rate of silkmoths.

How would that make any sense seeing as silk moths are normally found in grasslands where Mulberry Trees normally grow.

Insects like flowers, and planting grass turns the terrain into grassland, and as they explained, planting flowers terraforms the terrain into grassland except with a different pic.

For a use, the flowers could increase happiness, just like carpets.

Bah, moths are found aplenty in forests with no mulberries whatsoever. I usually catch a pair near rivers when exploring.
