Some more miscellaneous suggestions.

I suggest for the Chieftain's Hat to give some armor, 2/0 perhaps.

Instead of people only getting rocks or cast iron from smelting, I suggest that there also be a chance of getting nothing at all.

Some way to view a list of members of your village would be nice, although I suspect the developers have already thought of this one.

For the ore, I was thinking the other way around. Make it always smelt, but harder to find in the mines.

Admittedly that may be a preferable solution later. But, my suggestion for smelting was simply a short term fix to lower the huge amounts of rocks that we get. As they are a pain to drop if we have too many rocks already. To say the least, the suggestion is not particularly important. :P

Or let us alt-click or something to quick-drop stuff out of containers; that'd be fine too.

Yeah, that would also do it.

Here are some food ideas that Vanigo (I think) and I thought of.

Branch + Rat + Fire = Rat on a stick. (No FEP)

Toad + Fire = Frog Legs

Perch + X = Prepared Perch (2 INT, raw perch should give 1)

Prepared Perch + Flour = Raw Breaded Perch

Raw Breaded Perch + Oven? = Breaded Fish Fillet (4 INT)

Probably perch+nothing to prepare fillets, but I think that's probably an unnecessary step. I'd also like to see some sandwiches and meat pies - why should hunting and farming be incompatible?

What about jerky?
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Eh, why not? (Of course, jerky is for preservation and meat never goes bad anyway so there's your reason why not, but that's besides the point.)

Iron ore used to disappear if it failed to give ore, but this also caused lots of ruckus in the public mine. ¬¬

It would be nice to be able to see a list on the village idol, but the kinlist works just as well.

GIEV MEH NAO.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Very few of the people on my kinlist are actually members of my village. :|
